Let’s be honest: studying is hard. Are there ways to make it seem less terrible? You bet! Below are five apps that make studying more easy, more fun, and more accessible.
Evernote is an app designed for note-taking and organizing. Evernote allows users to create notes, which can be text, photographs, voice memos, or handwritten all from your smartphone or computer. You can have different “notebooks” for different topics and you can even view them across platforms.
Evernote is available online for Android, iOS and Windows phones and is free.
Forest is a productivity app that helps users stay focused. You set a timer and if you leave the app before the timer is over, your tree dies.
While some people might not care about the life or death of their virtual plant, this app provides a fun way to motivate you to stay productive.
The app is available on iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Chrome, and Firefox for $1.99.
Quizlet is an online learning tool created to help people study. You can create study sets with terms you need to remember, or you can study with flashcards or play games to learn.
Quizlet is available online as well as on iOS and Android for free.
Do! is an app that allows you to make to-do lists. The app sends you notifications for things you need to do and shows a list of these tasks on the iPhone drop-down “Today” menu. You can color-code tasks and sort them in basically any way you want.
Do! is pretty simple, but its users rave that Do! has helped them stay organized and on top of things.
Do! is only available on iOS for free.
Last but not least, don’t forget Tumblr. “Tumblr?” you ask. “To help me study?” Yes! Tumblr is a great place to get study inspiration, tips, and tricks from other Tumblr users. Some users even have blogs dedicated to studying. Log on and search for the tag “studyblr.” From there you can find all the studying resources you could ever need.
Tumblr is available online and on iOS and Android for free.
