Do you love science? Enjoy writing? Curious about the world? Would you like to contribute to the publication of a magazine? If you answered yes to any of the above, then MindScope Magazine may just be for you.
The Simmons MindScope Magazine is the only student-published science magazine on campus. Founded by senior Leila Bellou, the magazine aims to encourage students to go beyond the limitations of a classroom and explore science and technology through thinking, sharing ideas, and writing.
Features of this magazine include science articles, ongoing research on campus, information regarding seminars and events around the Boston area, interviews of peers and faculty, book reviews, and much more.
The magazine is published every semester, and it is in production of its second issue.
If you would like to contribute, please get in touch—We are in need of writers and copy editors. If you would like to write, pick any topic having to do with science, health, technology, the environment, and the like, and let us know!
If you have experience with copy editing, whether in or outside the classroom, we would love your participation as well!
Please email mindscope@simmons.edu with any questions and concerns.
