Sharks Weekend Wrap Up

Tennis
The Sharks Tennis team clinched a 6-3 win against Colby College in Waterville, Maine, on Saturday, Sept. 14.

Senior Margaret Teague won at first singles and doubles, while first-years Sofie Epshtein and Cathy Baker and sophomore Katie Crowley also won singles, 4-2.

Sophomore Theresa Reinhard also contributed to the win, placing second in her doubles.
Field Hockey
The Sharks Field Hockey team played the Wheaton College Lyons on Sunday, Sept. 15, taking home a 5-1 win, marking the program’s best start to the season.

Goals were made by first-years Mary Neidhardt and Gabrielle Henderson, sophomore Amy Cronin, and senior Seneca Martensson.
Volleyball
The Sharks Volleyball team lost four games this weekend during the 2013 MIT Invitational.

The Sharks hosted Wellesley College and Connecticut College on Friday, Sept. 20, falling to the Wellesley Blue and Connecticut College Camels, 3-0.

The team was defeated by Colby College, 3-0, and went to five games against Bates College, but lost 3-2, on Saturday at MIT.
Soccer
The Sharks Soccer team had a 5-2 win against the Mount Ida Mustangs on Saturday afternoon on home field in their first Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) match-up.

The score was led by sophomores Ali Berkman and Greer Gilbert, and first-year Alexis Eusebio who scored her first career goal.
