Simmons College Radio was nationally recognized by the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS) as having the “Best Public Service Promotion in College Radio – 2014” for its “Ask a Simmons Nurse” feature.
SCR was also a finalist for four different categories including Best Station Liner (Caroline Qualey and Nubbs), Best Air Personality (Dannie Annecston), Best Specialty Music Show (Mix & Match With M.E.L.).
Simmons College Radio, which will officially be launching its new name “Simmons College Radio, The Shark,” will host a live broadcast outside of the Fens on Wed. March 25 from 12 to 2 p.m. Stop by, celebrate, and possibly snag some Shark swag.
