Hundreds of students flocked to the Museum of Science on Friday for its annual college night.
Anyone with a college ID gained free entry to exhibits and could pay a discounted rate of $6 for IMAX shows, 4D shows, Planetarium shows, and the Butterfly Garden.
The IMAX shows available were “Grand Canyon Adventure: River at Risk,” “Pandas: The Journey Home,” and “Journey to the South Pacific.”
Students also had the opportunity to watch the museum’s live animal show and its Theater of Electricity shows.
“I enjoyed it a lot, although the exhibits have only changed so much since I went in high school,” junior Katie Sittig Boyd said. “My favorite exhibit this year was probably the live animal show because they had a giant snake.”
The museum also had a table with information about internship opportunities and had a raffle for free admission to various exhibits.
“It was a ton of fun. I just wish that some of the shows were free. They looked pretty interesting,” junior Krista Swanson said.
