BREAKING: Simmons intends to bring all students back to campus in the fall, according to a new email.

“We know there is much interest in Fall semester plans,” stated a March 1 email from the Office of the Provost. “While much is still uncertain related to the virus, we are planning to welcome all students back to campus this fall as long as conditions remain favorable.”

The statement of intention was within an email that announced Summer 2021 courses will be online-only with a few exceptions for in-person clinical and practicum requirements.

The email came as Massachusetts COVID cases dropped to the lowest point since October, according to NBC10 Boston.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
