Crew

The Simmons University crew team placed 22^nd at the Head of the Charles Regatta on October 20^th. The team will return in March when they return for the spring season.

Cross Country

Sophomore Alice Najimy led cross country at the Suffolk Invitational with a 13^th place finish. The team finished 14^th overall. Gabby Freeman, a senior and veteran runner, shaved 25 seconds off her previous best 5K time for a new PR and placed 72^nd for Simmons.

Soccer

First year goalkeeper Melanie Coleman was named the GNAC Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper and Rookie of the Week for the week of October 14-20. She is the first Shark to receive this honor in school history, and one of few GNAC players to earn the double honor. She currently ranks 4^th among GNAC goalkeepers.

Swimming and Diving

Senior swimmer Aine Scholand was named the GNAC Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week for the week of October 14-20. This is her 5^th time receiving the honor.

Megan Driscoll was named the GNAC Swimming and Diving Rookie of the Week for the week of October 14-20.

Tennis

The University’s tennis team sat in the fourth seed as they competed against Johnson & Wales in the GNAC Championship Tournament Semifinal match. The team will return in April for the spring season.
