Swimming and Diving
Laura List was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women’s Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week for the week of November 11-17, it was announced today by the league.
Meg Driscoll was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women’s Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week for the week of November 11-17.
On November 16, Áine Scholand broke the pool record in the 1650-yard freestyle in a 185-77 victory against University of New England. She was also named the New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association Women’s Co-Athlete of the Week for the week of November 4-10,
Sara Manjikian was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women’s Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week for the week of November 4-10,
Cross Country
Alice Najimy was the top finisher for the Simmons University women’s cross country team, placing 126th at the NCAA Division III New England Regional Championship at Pickard Fields in Brunswick, Maine.
Volleyball
Coach Scott Grandpre was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women’s Volleyball Coach of the Year.
Sydney Iannantuono was selected GNAC Rookie of the Year.
Morgan Weeg was tabbed to the All-Conference First Team and Amanda Fortune, Faith Gray-Williams, and Morgan Lauvray were all chosen to the All-Conference Second Team.
First year Grace Pontius was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team.
