Harry Potter’s World in Beatley Library opened Feb. 15 and will close Mar. 26. Related events included two presentations titled “He Lives!: Children’s Literature Before & After Harry Potter” and “Recovery without Magic: Muggle Strategies for Coping with Traumatic Events.”
The exhibition about the historical roots of Harry Potter is produced by the National Library of Medicine and National Institutes of Health.
The library is collecting socks for Rosie’s Place, a Housing and Homeless Center in Boston, through Dobby’s Sock Drive. The drive is sponsored by the Scott Ross Center.
The library hosted Horcrux Hunts on Mar. 24. Students were grouped by House and competed for prizes.
