The Regal Beagle offers a cozy and intimate setting for brunch and dinner service. Located at 308 Harvard Street in Brookline, the Regal Beagle is a short walk from Simmons Residence Campus and is in the heart of Coolidge Corner.

The Regal Beagle gets its name from a much-loved local pub from the TV series “Three’s Company.” The restaurant boasts being upscale yet affordable, and prides itself on serving beloved comfort food with a twist.

Once inside, you are greeted by dark wallpapered walls and small, intimate tables lit with candles. After being seated, either along the roomy booth on one side of the restaurant or at one of the cozier tables for two, you can ask from some complimentary bread or dig right into the menu. You can also sit at the bar, which provides a perfect view of a large screen TV and a closer look at their selection of alcoholic drinks.

This spot is the perfect place for a casual brunch as well as a more lavish dinner. During brunch the restaurant offers classics like toast, pancakes, and B.L.T. sandwiches. They also offer more inspired dishes like smoked salmon, eggs benedict, and Vermont ham with sweet potato hash.

When it comes to choosing what to eat at dinner you can have anything from bar bites, which include things such as dates and olives, to starters—grilled octopus anyone? For main entrees, the Regal Beagle serves delicious plates like grilled pasture-raised pork chop with a sweet and sour sauce as well as mac and cheese with ritz cracker crust. They also offer various dinner specials which can range anywhere from prime rib to a seafood risotto.

The Regal Beagle offers an interesting selection of food and a fabulous upscale dining experience for an affordable price. If you’re looking for somewhere to have a nice night out or a place to grab a quick brunch, the Regal Beagle is an ideal spot.

The restaurant is open Monday-Friday 11:30 a.m.-1 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m.-1 a.m. You can visit the website and make reservations at thebeaglebrookline.com.
