In a recent email to the Simmons community, Dean of Student Life Sarah Neill announced that Simmons has established gender inclusive bathrooms in all buildings on the academic campus.

The Main College Building (MCB) now features two gender inclusive bathrooms: in addition to the pre-existing bathroom on the third floor, near the Linda K. Paresky Conference Center, the bathroom across from the bookstore has been newly announced as gender neutral.

Additional such restrooms are located in Beatley Library, the fourth floor of the Park Science Center, the second floor of the School of Management, and the second floor of the Palace Road Building.

“We hope this affirmative step will offer access to restrooms where everyone can feel comfortable and safe regardless of gender expression or identity,” Neill wrote in the email.
