Field Hockey

On Saturday, Nov. 2, Simmons competed in the North Atlantic Conference Field Hockey Tournament Quarterfinal, eventually losing out to the  University of Maine at Farmington Beavers 2-0. Though the Sharks never made it on the scoreboard themselves, the team managed to block their opponents goal attempts for the entire second half. Field Hockey ended their season at third place in the NAC with a conference record of 6-3 and an overall record of 12-8.


Simmons tied Albertus Magnus in the GNAC Tournament Quarterfinal on Saturday. On Tuesday night, Sharks Soccer fell 0-1 to the Suffolk University Rams in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Semifinals. Soccer ended their season at seventh place in the GNAC with a conference record of 5-6 and an overall record of 8-11-1.


Volleyball defeated the Saint Joseph’s (Me.) Monks 3-2 in the GNAC Tournament Quarterfinals on Tuesday night. Simmons Volleyball currently sits at fifth place with a conference record of 7-4 and an overall record of 10-24. The Sharks will compete in the GNAC Semifinals on Thursday (time TBA).
